WallHound-Pro™ detects and deters visitors and staff from using any cellular, wi-fi, bluetooth or BLE device in secure areas. It works by detecting all nearby wireless devices and activity and alerting security personnel with bright flashing and audible alerts. Visual and audio alerts not only serve as a deterrent or reminder to visitors but also identify the type of wireless detection including devices by manufacturers such as ZTE, Huawei and other devices that have been placed on the Federal Register’s Entity List for reasons of national security.
WallHound-Pro is completely self-contained and includes a physical key and passcode touchscreen interface for tamper-resistant settings and control over all parameters. No PC or any external device is required to operate and secure your facility. The unit typically runs off AC power for 24-7 wireless detection but contains in internal battery for backup power and untethered operation if needed. WallHound-Pro supports optional directional antennas for pinpointing areas of interest and can be mounted to a portable stanchion anywhere or a fixed wall, stairwell, corridor, etc. located near a secure perimeter.
